Hiding register link

Our website is http://www.fighting.net and we have a members section. We don’t want people to be able to register from the site. They signup with our instructor then we want to be able to send them a link by email. Registering only works if in settings –> general we check “anyone can register.” That adds a register link to the login and anyone can type in the url/register to register. Can we:

    A) email a link that is hidden to everyone else

    or

    B) when some registers be able to moderate and accept or decline registrations?

I think you are looking for BP Registration options – that provides you with new member moderation.

If you are new to BuddyPress I’m developing a site aimed at helping people get the most out of BuddyPress http://buddyuser.com

There’s a few plugins that do that but BP Registration Options allows you to set it as a private network, in BP Registration>>BP Registration

It says only registered members can see buddypress pages. we want anyone to see our members page but we have wordpress pages we want only members to see. with buddypress registration, it registers them but they can login and see member area just not profile pages.
