Hiding website title bu css and fixing header widget area

Hi,

I am using Status theme with buddypress 1.7 I have 3 queries with theme.

1. how can I hide site title via css, I searched the forum, but it didnot work for me.

2. I created header widget area, and added custom horizontal menu with it. I want it to be at fixed, while scrolling the site, so that its handy for users, to navigate.

3. Status theme has fixed footer, I want to keep the footer, but not at position.

please advice.
