Home theme loads Blank

Hi all, I installed Buddypress, followed the instructions, it’s not the first time I do it, so I was familiar with the process and can be sure that all was done properly. I tried installing it on my site (so far I had done t in test sites on my server) and I see that the main blog http://iamzaks.com loads blank when any theme is selected other than the default WPmu home theme. I just updated to WPmu 2.6.5 and installed the latest version of Buddypress.

I see that all other blogs load no problem, I even loaded the Buddypress Home theme on one of the user’s blogs and it works fine. The User pages work fine and everything else works, the problem is only with the main blog. I believe it to be a Widget problem, since I get a blank “wp-admin/widgets.php” page for the main blog. When I erase BuddyPress from the mu-plugins folder, the main blog is displayed with the BP home theme, but only a small header line is rendered. All other themes work in this situation.

I don’t know what else to do, and it is very urgent that I fix this problem because this is my main site and there are a lot of impatient users.

As I was writing this post, I re-uploaded the mu-plugin directory files, and now the Buddypress home theme works, however, there still is a problem with a widget, I am trying to isolate it, and the problem originates in the left column of the BP Home theme, because the problem with the widget page is that the sidebar 1 does not load, sidebar 2, 3 and blog sidebar are editable. In that column, there are only 2 active widgets, the “Welcome” and “Recent Posts” widget.

    Any ideas?

Thank you very much in advance.

Ok, I manually erased the file “bp-blogs-widgets.php” and the site works. The problem is the Recent Posts Widget :S what could the problem be?

If you are getting a blank page, the first place to look is what your apache logs are saying about trying to access it. What is the error, since it is giving you a fatal error if you are getting a white page. It could be a plugin conflict or something as basic as still looking for an older theme from the database.

I am not able to access the server’s logs, also, I’m now looking for any plugins that might be left from previous sites, are there know conflicts with plugin wp-super-chache?

EDIT: here are the plugins that are activated in mu-plugins at the moment.

    wp_ozh_whoseesads

    wp-supercache

    plugin-commander

    support module

    and in plugins/

    Akismet

    WP_DB_Backup

    wp_Polls

any know issues? I tried deactivating all of those to no avail.

EDIT2: does BP worh with subdomain installation of wpmu?

Fatal error could be anything. No access to error logs? What host?

Howdy, can I jump in for a sec? Go to Plesk > Domains > ‘yourdomain’ > log manager

There’s an option there in the middle ‘Lines of log file to be displayed (from the end of the file)’. Put in 100 or something resonable. Then select error_log.

Still trying to find any conflicts with the wp-blogs-widgets.php file, but nothing yet

    Error log results:

    http://pastebin.com/m66945a26

    does that mean anything?

re-uploaded the file and loaded couple times the blank pages, but there seems to be nothing in the error logs, what am I looking for?
