How and where exactly to add some PHP to existing PHP to get desired effect….

I have some PHP code for a login area like whats on explorewithme.com. I want to put that where I have the Login Info on my site now realfam.com. I would like it in a widget like it is now, if possible. I tried to use the PHP widget but it does not like the code. Just displays the raw code on the page. I would even accept this being static and not in a widget, but at the top of the right sidebar like my login area is now, with widgets below it. Any suggestions?
