How can I disable username changes after people register?

    I noticed you can just go into Settings and change your username even after signing up. Is there a way to prevent this?

    I fixed it temporarily by just hiding that field with css.

    .profile .field_username { display:none; }

    If anybody has a better solution, I’d like to hear.
