    Hi,
Please tell me is there any way to insert link with target(_blank) in description section of buddypress field(bp_the_profile_field_description)?
When I add target to link and click on update button, the target section will be removed.
    Thanks

Please search the forum before asking questions! For ex. “allow html in description”

Allow HTML Attributes in Profile Description Field

    Thanks for your quick answer.
Will you please tell me is this harmful to security if I allow HTML in description?
As it’s not allowed by default.

Also by default, a field description can only be filled by a site admin, not by suscribers or visitors. But it is to you to know what is harmfull or not when you customize something in your site.

If you are the only one allowed to create xprofile fields, i doubt that you will voluntary introduce malicious code into your field description… In this case it is certainly harmfull to allow yourself some html tags. 😉
