Hope someone understands.
I know we could mark a post as sticky so that it is dispalyed on top of the list.

Now I want to mark a post as ‘essence’, meaning it’s highly valuable, and visitors could view all ‘essence’ ones in a special list ( could be a new ‘order by’ condition). Is there a way of achieving this? It is a very commen feature of forums, most likely a bbpress issue.

I suppose you could build a feature like this, but there’s nothing out of the box.
