How Can I Register Users On Subdomain But Not In Buddypress?

My details.

Running the latest version of WP multisite subdomain set install (3.8.1) and BP (1.9.2).

I have a users site subdomain where I DO NOT want the users to be registering for Buddypress at all as this site is ‘separate’ from the main site.

Is it possible to turn buddypress registrations OFF for a subdomain site in a network install of Buddypress?

Ok either people can’t answer this question or it is being ignored and I have no idea why.

I may just have to skip using buddypress on my main network site if this can’t be answered : (

Disappointed.

Have you thought about using multisite? This may or may not work for you – see the Codex for more info on it:
