How do I get a summary of the list of profiles?

Hey there,
I am using the latest version of WordPress and BuddyPress. My site is http://www.rivergig.com
Is there a way I can get a list of profiles with part of a description formatted as in the mockup here? http://www.rivergig.com/musicians_list/
I would like people to click on each summary to open up their profile page on BuddyPress. I currently can get the list of members, but its as in the layout of the mockup I wanted: http://www.rivergig.com/members/
Is there any suggestions I can do to change it?
Also, for the BuddyPress profile, are people able to add Youtube embeds and little bios just like the mockup here? http://www.rivergig.com/musicians_list/cronan-profile-page/
