How I can Modify buddypress profile update?

    Hello.
    I want add a new field in buddypress profile update with the field already existing. My question is: What is the file of the plugin that I will modify?
    Today I know relatively PHP… It is too difficult?

    Updates are added via an ajax handled text-area field type. But I never heard about a nested text-area. The only way to add something is to edit the update.

    The form is in bp-legacy/buddypress/activities/post-form.php
