How many users can BuddyPress handle?

    I have a client that is looking to setup a social network and they are worried about the scalability of BuddyPress. They don’t want to have to make changes to the database once they reach a certain number of users.

    Is this something we need to worry about?

    This isn’t really a question for BP, Users and DB is WP stuff; BP just rides on the back of so to speak.

    I have run across sites that have a user base running into the tens of thousands so I don’t think there is a huge issue, but check over on WP support.
