How The Activity Select Works?

Hi everybody!

I’m making a social network based in Flash / PHP / MySQL and I was trying to figure out how the activity SELECT works. I have to build a comment system exactly the way the Buddypress Activities works.

I just search the BuddyPress files, but I can’t find where is the exact SELECT that builds the comments hierarchy.

Somebody can help me?

bp-activity/bp-activity-classes.php will be where all the SQL happens. Note that the Activity Stream’s database uses a MPTT structure, so unless yours does, it may be worth looking at the WP Core comments query builder.
