how to add additional fields to group creation

hi,
im looking for help, i need to add additional fields to group creation process, including file uploads.
I tried using the “group extension API” with no luck…
I also tried every existing plugin with the same results, for example:
buddypress plus
buddypress groups extras
https://codex.buddypress.org/plugindev/how-to-edit-group-meta-tutorial/ (this almost work, but we can’t upload files).None of the listed above fits my needs.
I’ve read that some people have achieved this somehow, can anyone share the code, we could pay for it. this is to be released for a crowd-founding project and is a lil urgent.
Hopefully someone can reply soon please, thanks in advance.
