try the rtmedia plugin ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-media/ ) or the newer and upcoming media press : http://buddydev.com/buddypress/presenting-mediapress-media-plugin-will-ever-need-buddypress/

These may do what you are asking about if I understand your question.

Thank you very much. I will try them. i was using bp album and they had a small script which was making the photos show up on the profile page but now it doesnt work . For example here is the profile of a member http://www.newfashiontalents.com/fashion-professionals/browse-2/members/ariiadna1510/ and i want to make her photos appear on this page under her info.

    Hi @dio1987,
Can you please provide a screenshot of what exactly you are looking for?
MediaPress does provides the uploading/album(or gallery) etc.
If you can explain, I can put the code for you 🙂

@sbrajesh hi there, mediapress is an awesome plugin but have you managed to get the light box functional and working correctly yet with mediapress? because this is the only issue i can see with mediapress after testing it on my install, the commenting system in the lightbox is all screwy and just doesnt work like it does on rtmedias plugin, the way it adds extra activity items etc when someone comments just does not seem right, they should appear under the original post like rtmedia and facebooks lightbox does. like i said neat plugin but needs some improvements in this area bud.

    hi @mcpeanut,
    Thank you.
I actually made a mistake by including the lighbox hurriedly. I am updating to have an option to disable it.

I have tested it on a few themes and it seems to have conflicts on couple of themes bacuse of my use of theme specific activity instead of supplying with the plugin.

I am looking on to improve it and I saw your suggestions yesterday there.

Please help me to improve it by providing your future suggestions here.

Let us improve it together 🙂
    Thank you
