Before my site went live, i created some test topics which where given topic tags, as it i was only testing, i was not too particular about the wording of these tags. I deleted the topics before going live but the tags from these deleted topics still show in the ‘Forum Topics Tags’ box that shows on the Forum’s page. How can I delete these tags?

I presume the Topic Tags are stored in one of the database tables. Does anyone know if this is so and is it possible to delete them from there, without affecting the integrity of anything else?

In the DB, topic tags are stored in BuddyPress under:

– wp_bb_terms
– wp_bb_term_relationships
– wp_bb_term_taxonomy

To be extra cautious, back up these tables before you purge the data.
