Do you mean like this:

It’s not a code snippet or plugin. To achieve this affect, we just made some simple changes to the groups-loop /entry.php template to modernise and simplify the markup, and then styled appropriately in the CSS file to achieve the layout (floating the items and so on).
If you’re au fait with CSS and PHP / HTML it’s straightforward to achieve.
Yes, exactly like that. I’m not great with coding, but can usually poke my way around and figure things out. If you’d care to post the modifications you made to entry.php and the CSS you used, that would be great.
@rogercoathup,
Your site looks great. Nice styling of the Buddyvents plugin.
you can edit your groups/groups-loop.php to add some css class
or change the css of #groups-list ui.

@qrahaman – thanks for the feedback. We used Buddyvents on a few projects at the time, but more recently have been working with Modern Tribe’s Event Manager plugin.
@agolden42, we’re trying to find a way to display group in out site as a gallery, I suppose similar to what you attempted to do about 2 years ago.
If you go to fiverr.com, for example, on the homepage freelancer offers are shown as a gallery with picture and title.
Is there a way to do something similar easily for groups, that is, have a grid-like, gallery display that shows the group profile photo, name of the group, and brief group description for, say, 9-12 groups?
If you were able to resolve this issue from way back when and wouldn’t mind sharing what you did, it would be highly appreciate.
Many thanks in advance.
