Buddypress 2.1 broke a bunch of things on our wp 4.0 site – how do we downgrade to 2.0 until all those issues are fixed?

– activity plus no longer works
– add friend link no longer works, stays static and returns to start page
– drop down header menu is now dead
– private message no longer works
– adna couple other things.

A “how to” for temporarily downdgrading to 2.0 would be very welcome – Thanks!
