How to enable @mention in bbpress without enabling user activities

Hi, I have bbpress and buddypress installed in my site. Now I want to use the @mention function of buddypress in my forum but I do not want to enable user activities. Any solution for that? Many thanks

To the best of my knowledge, @-mentions in BuddyPress require the activity component to be active.
