How to Have Forum Look like etivite

Hello, I was going across the etivite’s forums, and his forums have some features I want, mostly on the actual page. Here is the forum page for a example of what I am talking about http://etivite.com/groups/buddypress/forum/topic/rating-of-members/#topic
1. How do you get the Message “to reply, please log in first”? It is very confusing for non-logged in members on my website that the box is simply not there, I need a notice that they need to log in.
I have the start, the info message class, But how do I make it so if the user is logged in, the content returns?
2. The start and user date “Started %date% by %username%” I have no start on how to add this….
3. The Latest reply message, “Latest Reply from %username%”
