How to integrate BuddyPress & BBpress

I’m using the latest version of WordPress, Budddypress and WordPress on a very active blog with multiple posters (http://ssnet.org), and I’m wondering how best to integrate the social activity with the existing blog.
I envision a page entitled “Social Center,” which should be the front page of the BuddyPress/BBPress, but I cannot find anything that looks like a front page to install there.
If there is a front page for BuddyPress/BBPress, what is it called?? Or how do I create it? (Please forgive if this sounds a bit dumb. 😉 )
