How to limit how many items display on the activity page?

    I was wondering if anyone could tell me what line of code to edit if for instance I only want the 5 last statuses to display on the page with the load more loading the older ones? I really think there should be something in the backend to let you define this function.

    @djpaul, Hey thanks for the code snippet. The only problem is when I replace the code the load more link disappears at the bottom. How can I fix that? I want the page to only display the 5 newest items, but I still would like the option of loading more older activity. Thanks in advanced!

    @djpaul, before BP 1.6 is released is there a possibility you guys could work it into the dashboard settings for BP to enter a number for the number of activity items displayed without interfering with the load more option? Thanks!
