What type of link specifically is showing up as rel=”nofollow” for you?
Comments left on blogs are all no follow
profile links to members blogs are no follow.
First is a WordPress thing, latter is BuddyPress.
For the first, check out some of the suggestions at the bottom of the https://codex.wordpress.org/Nofollow page
I tried the plugins and they don’t’ work.
Any other suggestions to making a do follow community?
please and thanks this is important to bloggers!!!
Bare in mind you’ll encourage spammers by doing this.
Spammers are always an issues do follow or no follow lol.
Being the owner of blogengage a pligg powered website I’m very aware of do follow spam issues it’s very bad.
So do we have a solution to this?
I’m still showing some links as NO FOLLOW
how do I make the entire website DO FOLLOW
Nofollow indicates to search engine indexes not to follow this link (or in Google’s case, use it as a page rank for the target domain)
Do you know how to make my website all DO FOLLOW?
Do follow is also a great way to encourage users to create and fill out a profile, specifically if you create custom fields for their “websites” in their profile. Spam registrations are already a major issue ( at least for us ) so that isn’t much of a deterrent for us at least.
I think linking you to http://lmgtfy.com has gone to your head
Guys I know about the Word Press Do Follow.but I need the buddy press to also be Do Follow.
This is what I need.
I just want to provide Dofollow link to the member profile page links only ( not with comment links or article links)
How do i do this with Buddypress?
