How to make sure user blogs link back to the main site

I’m setting up buddypress on a multi-site installation. Is there any way to make sure user blogs automatically link back to the main site?

It all depends on ‘where’ you want the link. Are you looking to have in the themes a link back somehow or a consistent link back in sidebars?
