How to … make that cool login ?

Hello 🙂

I’am totally new in buddy press 🙂 But i found this page : http://themeforest.net/item/cinematix-buddypress-theme/full_screen_preview/4959387 and i love that login panel!

When you are logged in then you see a mail icon and a setting icon etc. and wehen you get a private message you see on the mail icon a little 1. That looks so cool.

Everyone knows how to make that ?
