how to make these links work?

    okay I was able to move the buddypress default menu and make it a vertical menu in my sidebar but the links won’t work I mean they don’t get the actual user’s portal links or their version of activity page and so on but if I include the user name’s in the code then it would so is there anyway I can make these links so that it would work for everyone. please see the image:

    Are you just hard coding a href links?

    well what I did was modem that I looked up the page in firefox and copied the code in my sidebar but the problem is the address the links refer to, in one part of it, it had my name in it which refers to my account but if I delete my name in that address those links will go to not found page what I need is to move the buddypress navigation to my sidebar just like facebooks menu without any broken links.

    thanks budd the first code you sent it works beautifully but how can I have the main links I mean
    Activity Profile Messages 0 Friends 0 Groups 0 Media 0 Settings

    in my side bar. plus how to add a icon right before each one of them. GREATLY APPRECIATED BUDD.
