How to remove ’request membership’ button and keep groups private

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the Request Membership button on all private groups. I want to have the groups visible (because I am using the groups as a roster ranking system), but do not want people to be able to join the group without an invitation. Any ideas?

Ha, I removed it at one point and now can’t remember how to add it BACK
I did it in the theme’s CSS somehow…
