BuddyPress.org

Hi I have form fields that a user must fill out when registering for their buddypress account and then they pend my approval. I cannot view those fields on the backend anywhere however without activating their account first. Is there a workaround? Also, how come my email notifying them that they have been activated is not going through to them, but they get the pending approval email when they sign up?
