How to search for members?

    Hi all:

    I have a rather stupid question I’m hoping someone can enlighten me on. Does the ability to search for members come with Buddypress or does it require an external plugin? I’m having some theme compatibility issues, and I can’t find any obvious way to search for members, so I’m not sure if it’s a theme issue or if I need to install something.

    If I need a plugin, any recommendations?

    you can search for BP members via the regular WP+BP search. Comes with BP and if you want to extend member search use the following plugin

    Hi, thanks for the input. It turned out to be a theme conflict with BP, and now the search appears fine. Since this is my first BP site, I just didn’t know what to be looking for. I will check out your recommendation as well–thanks!
