How to search other than members and groups

I need a way to be able to search by what people post to groups. Also is there a way for user’s to create tags using buddypress?

Are you talking about group forum post search?

That can be done at example.com/forums and using the search form there.

Unfortunately, activity stream search doesn’t exist at the moment.

yea i meant searching by activity. I was hoping of a way to have tags in groups can this be done?

There’s a plugin for group tags, but that categorizes the groups and not the activity content:

Andy mentioned that the code for global activity search exists, it just needs a frontend.
