How users can manage all their profile related detail in one place?

Users are finding it very confusing to manage their profile in two places :
wordpress-mu/…/wp-admin/profile.php and /wordpress-mu/members/…/profile/ , /wordpress-mu/members/…./settings/ the last two being buddypress options.
The scenario is that eah has his blog (wordpress-mu) so that they like to have ‘About Yourself’ widget in the side-bar in the blog, while they will like to change the user nick which can be done at both buddypress and wp-admin, however changing the nick is not global, which it should be.
Is there any module or is there any way so that users can manage all their profile related detail in one place?
