I Cannot Create Groups

Please I need help to create Groups.
http://acadayear.com/home/groups/create/ returns “Not Found The requested URL /home/groups/create/ was not found on this server.”
while
http://acadayear.com/home/index.php/groups/create/ returns “We’re sorry, but we can’t find the page that you’re looking for. Perhaps searching will help.”

http://acadayear.com/home/groups/ is also not found.

Do you have User Groups enabled here?
…/wp-admin/admin.php?page=bp-components

Have you assigned a page to Groups here?
…/wp-admin/admin.php?page=bp-page-settings

If http://acadayear.com/home/groups/ is not found, then of course http://acadayear.com/home/groups/create will be not found.

Solve the first issue first.

Check your permalinks – perhaps resave them.
Also check your .htaccess file

Thanks for the responses Shane. I have the same issue as the user.

I am unable to delete the index.php portion of the link

I want to create the following permalink: http://localhost/wordpress/groups/

However, only the bold area can be changed http://localhost/wordpress/index.php/groups/
