I need help with Buddypress on members blogs only

Hi does any one know how we can do the following…

We are using Worfpress MU and also Buddypress and we want to hide the Buddypress features on the main site blog but to have Buddypress working on our members blogs when they join. How can we do this?

To give you an idea of what I mean if you look at this site they dont have BP services on the main site but it is on members site. the site is http://solopracticeuniversity.com/ and it is also in the Showcase section of this site https://buddypress.org/showcase/
