I want to display group avatars as a grid on my homepage.

Dear members,

I hope someone can help me, is there a piece of code or plug-in that i can use that will let me use the full size (BIG) group avatars on the homepage main body?
I wish to create a big grid of all my groups displaying the latest ones. but only using the big avatar icons that click through to the group itself with no text shown.

Has this been done before? can i modify the widget for groups to show big avatars and not to be limited to the side widget column?

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

You can create your own WordPress page template or widget and create a loop that calls the group avatars. The current groups widget is a good start to see how it works. Also check the theme files group loop.
