If User Deletes Post (permanently) will it be deleted from Activity Stream ?

When a user deletes or permanently deletes a post from their blog should this post entry in the BP Site Activity stream be deleted ?
If this should happen is there a common explanation for when it doesn’t ? i.e. where to look for solution ?
