BuddyPress.org

So i use BuddyPress for registering but when a new account is created it informs the new user to check their email for a confirmation. When i made a test user the email didn’t send and the user was able to login normally without the confirmation. I liked this feature an im wondering how i can fix this. It worked previously and it worked just fine but now it doesn’t.

Im using the latest version of the WordPress and Buddypress and it is on a linux server if there is anymore ifo you need just ask. I need this fixed pretty quick because it if for my school.Also i don’t like to mess with the code unless i absolutely have too.
