Implementing Custom Article Posting and Rating Features in BuddyPress

I’m looking to enhance my BuddyPress site by allowing registered users to post articles with custom fields such as title, author, city, work center (conditional), and attachments (PDF or MP4). Additionally, I want to enable users to rate other articles (1-5 stars) while preventing them from rating their own. Can anyone guide me on how to achieve these features, including managing role-based visibility for ratings and limiting the number of posts per user? Any insights or resources would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

You can check out the BuddyPress Member Blog Pro plugin, which offers features such as custom fields and role-based post creation restrictions.

However, please note that the blog rating feature is not available in this plugin. You can explore all the features by trying out the sandbox demo here: https://wbcomdesigns.com/downloads/buddypress-member-blog-pro/.
