import xprofile CSV

    I am aware that there are numerous threads about impoting/exporting CSVs. I wasn’t able to find a good plugin for importing xProfile data specifically.

    Thanks to Ruby @rubyji I was able to find this plugin

    that exports the user’s xProfile data . . .

    But wasn’t able to crack the issue of properly importing. I would like to avoid phpMyAdmin and SQL as it seemed a bit complex. Some day I’d love to learn it but not for this project.

    Thank you in advance for any direction or plugin guidance.

    Thank you for your Help @sharmavishal. Funny thing – I read that post before starting this topic.

    Your link is to a solution with phpMyAdmin…

    So I take it there’s no way around that and there is absolutely no plug in. I will export the tables in MyAdmin and then restructure my data according to that. And I’ll cross my fingers.

    I’ll reply with my process if I have any success.

    yes…i read your post as well…unfortunately no plugin exists which would import bp related data. So you need to do it via phpmyadmin only as of now…just backup everything in case u need to revert back..best luck

    also mairajs last link is of users capability issue which he faced…so if you face that issue then only u need to check this …else ignore this….

    Well there’s some great news. I can do it. It’s a very long and involved process but I can do it.

    Thanks for the help Sharma. Here is the plugin I’m using/found that will accept a CSV (comma and quotes delimited) and write to a specific table within the database.

    There is a lot more information on how I accomplished this but I can not document it all here right now. I will follow up with a video walk through as it is involved as I stated above.
