Insert search function on sidebar icon buddypress

    how can i insert the function search of buddypress in the sidebar?
    delete the menu and insert the logo upside in the left.

    For Members Search there is a plugin called BP Profile Search, this comes witha widget that you can insert in your sidebar. Would that help?
