Integrate certain plugins into custom themes?

    Is it possible to just integrate code from certain plugins into a custom theme? Plugins like bpdev-logout-redirect or the email login plugin that do something basic/essential and won’t change much.

    What’s the best approach? Just copy the functions to functions.php?

    That’s pretty much the process used on regualr WP themes that include plugins built in.
