Internet Explorer trouble

    I’m having trouble with IE. Most of the testing I’ve done is with IE8, but 7 has the same problems, although I haven’t tested every case.

    For example, when uploading an Avatar, after “Crop Full Size and Save” (Step 3 of group correction, in this case) I get “Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again”

    I get a lot of 404 errors:

    404 error on 4th step of group creation.

    404 Error when attempting to search member list

    404 Error if you accept a friendship request (request is granted though).

    Firefox works in all of these cases. I’m sure there are more problems, but I haven’t tested it enough.

    My installation is unusual only in that it is running on IIS6, which has hosted WordPress MU flawlessly for 6 months. I am using subdirectories for blogs. Does anyone have any ideas?

    WordPress MU 2.7.1 (2.6.3 -> 2.7 -> 2.7.1)

    BuddyPress 1.0 (fresh install, no upgrade)

    Standard BuddyPress member theme.

    Modified BuddyPress home theme to block access to anyone not logged in (the problems existed before this change was made)

    Sitewide plugins: cets_blog_defaults, LDAP Authentication Plugin-in, MU Multi-site

    Several of initial questions:

    1. Have you tried switching back to the standard BuddyPress home theme? If not, do so and see if the problem still exists.

    2. Have you tried deactivating all 3rd-party plugins to see what happens? If the problem goes away, you should then reactivate the 3rd-party plugins one at a time, testing after each reactivation to see if the problem has returned.

    2. Are there any errors in your log files? If so, what are they?
