Is buddypress right for what I am trying to create?

    I will not give specific details, but these are things I am looking for:
    -Welcome page with information about your profile, a blog in the side bar, two scrollable boxes that have the last updates on things.
    -a bar at the bottom that have icons to other websites I *may* make
    -a bar at the top with customizable categories not just “home”, “activity”, etc.
    -I want two different types of members, one with more power than others
    -I want the lower status ones to be able to submit a form with information directly to the ones with the higher status
