Is it possible to embed audio directly into the activity stream

I like the simple and neat appearance of the Audio Player plugin for wp. I’m wondering if it is possible to embed it directly into the activity steam so members can easily share music or other kinds of mp3 audio files together.

BP Album+ will have this functionality in the near future.
