Is there a some kind of Buddypress welcome e-mail plugin?

    I was wondering if there is a buddypress plugin enabling to send welcome e-mails to new members? I’m having a hard time finding one. There was Buddypress Welcome Pack, but it’s not maintained anymore.

    Have you tried Welcome Pack? Even though it is no longer supported, it should still work

    No, I haven’t. If you say so, I might give it a try. Is it the only option?

    Welcome Pack was written by one of the Lead Developers of BuddyPress so I have no hesitation in recommending it. My advice would be to set up a test site, install the plugin and play around with it to see if it works for you

    Well.. I haven’t updated Welcome Pack since 2011-12-4, and that was when WordPress about version 3.3.1 :). Parts of the plugin might still work, but I doubt everything is going to work perfectly.
