Is there actually an ‘elegant’ way to use an iframe?

    Hi guys,
I want to integrate an external website into my site but I hate the way iframes work and I often find that the external site is too wide to fit into the content of my page fully and thus displays horrid scroll bars.

Is it possible to display a site in a lightbox kind of way and if so is there a plugin that could do that? I think it would be much nicer if a user clicked on a thumbnail of a site and it open the site over the original sites content in a lightbox. It’s the only way I can think of to make it appear the slightest bit professional.

    Anyone got any ideas?

Check out any type of jQuery lightbox script for WP:

Iframes are the devils work, and deprecated and definitely not part of a strict DTD not that anyone cares, if they have to be used then as r-a-y says the scripted approaches are best not that they are that elegant but jQuery thickbox is still a script I personally use when required.
