Let me know if anyone has the same pbm.
1. Compose message as site admin or normal user
2. Send To (Username or Friend’s Name) – type info (this is also my blog name, no such user with name “info” exists)
The suggestion drop box gives me “<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="info "

Also the suggestions in drop box do not really match with the input. For e.g when i enter “T” the suggestions is “Admin” and “<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="info "

Also the header image re appears/flickers (in firefox) even though I have removed the header image using the option in backend Appearance -> Header.

This is a weird bug. It shouldn’t show the RSS link on an AJAX request. If you have any other plugins or custom code running, please disable them and only have BuddyPress and the BP default theme running

Tried your suggestion. Still the same thing.

btw tht trac ticket is not reported by me, which means someone else has come across the same thing.

If you view the HTML source of your page, what’s the rest of the text you get? It may contain an error message or something useful.
