Issue with member login

I accidentally deleted the ‘member’ page that I set up when I first installed BP. Now I am on permalink three for members, which seems to work ok.

However, it is my understanding that when you login you as a member you are supposed to go directly to your activity page. This is not happening. Not only that, some other pages are pulling the wrong page.

Is this buddypress or wordpress?

Thought deleting Buddypress might fix the problem – because the permalinks say I am now on member-3. My fatal error was that I had a redirect plugin installed and I think it has fouled up the process.

Went to deactivate and got this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_site_admin() in /home/atlanta/www/www/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-links/bp-links-admin.php on line 20

I am going to try reinstalling but would like to know what to do if this doesn’t work.

BP Links is an old, unsupported plugin. The error message is saying “hey, this bit that BuddyPress provides is missing (since you deactivated BuddyPress), and so we can’t load it, so here’s an error”.
