Join/Leave Group buttons are missing?

I can’t seem to get to the bottom of this issue, I appologise this has been raised elsewhere? I am getting more lost by the day with this issue.
Either my theme does not include the “join group” and “leave group” buttons I am using the Huddle theme (believe me I’ve tried getting a response about this issue from the developer but its not happening) or I have deleted something by mistake?
If it is generally not included with the theme I am still unsure what I need to do to get these to appear? currently users auto join a group once they start posting but it would be nice for them to be able to join without having to post a topic.
Please help me
