Hello all. Interested in charging a subscription fee for creating groups. I have search for some kind of walk through on setting this up. It appears that either “everyone” can create a group at will with no fee attached. Or, no-one can create a group and thus the group widget is not visible.

Is there a out of the box solution?
    Kind regards,

The reply. I am sorry, new to this but I do not understand how this answers my question. “Study http://mycred.me” Can you explain the connection the question?

MyCred allows you to earn or buy points that give you access or privileges.
Perhaps a privilege could be creating groups.

You could also try s2member – supports paid subscriptions. Then you could make the Create Group button visible only to paid members.

There is no out-of-the-box solution to your task, afaik.

s2member pro. I have this plugin. I do not quite understand how to use it to allow a button to become visible. I am using the BP plugin and Geodirectory integrated. I do not understand how s2member would control the Group creation. Also, new topic.. I will set on up today.. I am looking to hire a BP pro to help me set up a site in the essence of time and efficiency.
