Limit replies to a comment and not the children.

    I want to cut off replies to the children of a comment reply. So you can comment on a post and then reply to a comment but you can not reply to the “reply of a reply”. How can I accomplish this?

    I dont see the option to disable replies to nested replies. See I want people to be able to reply to a comment.
    But I dont want someone to be able to reply to the reply of the top level comments. Does that make sense?

    have to block replies on the activity type: activity_comment

    That didn’t work. I dont know if it’s because it’s for the comments of posts and not the activity stream or what. I was hoping there was a function to handle this.

    the plugin above is only for the bp activity stream – maybe a regular wordpress plugin has that functionality for blog posts.
