Log-In Link on Activate Your Account Page shows html characters

Steps to reproduce:
1: Enable Nouveau theme:
2: Register:
3: Confirm EMail Address

In this template, the string Your account was activated successfully! You can now <a href="%s">log in</a> with the username and password you provided when you signed up is wrapped in the esc_html function, so the html is visible on the page, and the link is not clickable.
